Foreword

Genealogy is fascinating and useful when it
serves to stimulate the understanding of
popular history. In the past, too many
historians exclusively dedicated their works
to "Celebrities", ignoring millions
of individuals who contributed by their labors
and their life to build this history. However,
when genealogy becomes a tool utilized to
identify ourselves with nobles or celebrities,
it can then also serve to perpetuate
xenophobia and contempt between social
classes. This phenomenon has plagued the
history of humanity, and it is important to
understand the history of humankind as it will
contribute to the healing of these plagues in
our past.
